Getting Started

Joining our Pack is easy!

Simply fill out the appropriate forms below, drop them off at the "Pack 77 Cub Scouts" box in the Almond School Office with dues, and start attending the pack and den events.
  • New Pack 77 Scouts:
    • Complete and return the Scout Registration Form and the Medical Form (see below).
    • Email to let us know you've registered, and your Den Leader will contact you.

  • Returning Pack 77 Scouts:
    • Complete and return only the Medical Form (see below).
    • Fees:
      • Write a check to "Pack 77" for $165. This amount covers $130 that goes strictly to Pack 77 operations, and $35 to ensure our pack has 100% participation in Friends of Scouting (see below). Please write your scout's name in the comment field. Paper clip to the form(s) and bring to first pack meeting, or return to the Almond office.
      • Add $12.00 for a total of $177.00 if you'd like to include Boys' Life magazine subscription with the BSA discount.
      • Friends of Scouting: Our local Boys Scouts of America District, Pacific Skyline, asks for a $200 voluntary donation to the Friends of Scouting Fund. These funds are used to maintain valuable resources including the Cutter, Boulder Creek, and Oljato Campsites that we use every year. Our Pack dues already include a $35 contribution to Friends of Scouting, but if you are able to make an additional donation to help keep our BSA District operational, please include a separate $165 check made out to "BSA." .     • Uniforms and Handbooks
      • We'll have new and used parts of cub scout uniforms available from our Quartermaster at no charge at our first Pack Meeting.
      • You can purchase all uniforms and books from the Palo Alto Scout Store.
    • All Scout Leaders:
      • Complete and return the Adult Registration Form. (Registration fees for adults are covered by the Pack).
      • Complete online Youth Protection, Fast Start, and Leader Specific training at
      • Take note of your BSA ID # for future reference.
